If you’re into skateboarding, you’ve definitely heard of Grand Skate Tour — the biggest international action sports festival that, for the fourth time, brings riders from all over the world together. In 2025, GST will welcome more than 300 participants from 60+ countries.
As a good tradition, thanks to raised funds, the best riders and coaches of the Social Skate School project will gather for a week-long professional training — a unique chance for participants from different cities to meet in person, share experiences, and connect with international riders and speakers. The program will include group workshops where each participant can try themselves as an instructor and gain new skills.
The project’s spot will be open daily (August 18–24) — join the workshops and skate sessions with the Social Skate School riders on the concrete area near the skatepark at Khodynskoe Pole (m. CSKA). Entry is free, participation in workshops — by on-site registration in live queue order.
A few organizational points:
– To participate, you’ll need to fill out a consent form for participation and data processing. If you’re under 18, this must be done by a parent. – If you’ve already joined one workshop during the week, repeated participation is possible only if there are free spots. – Each workshop has a maximum of 15 participants; minimum age — 6 years old. – Please arrive 20 minutes before your workshop to fill in forms, pick a skateboard, and put on protective gear.
