Once again, the Minsk Skateboarding Museum of the USSR, founded by Gleb Bentsiovskiy, will be a special guest at the Grand Skate Tour!
The first and only museum of its kind, it now features more than 1,100 exhibits, including 657 unique skateboards. Beyond the boards themselves, the collection holds posters, banners, pennants, and souvenirs created especially for skateboarding competitions across the USSR. Photo and video archives, contributed by "Soviet skaters" from many cities, immerse visitors in the everyday life and culture of skateboarding.
The collection spans from the mid‑1950s to the late 2000s, offering a rare and vivid journey through the history of skateboarding.
At Grand Skate Tour 2025, the museum will present a brand‑new exhibition, showcasing items displayed at GST for the very first time. For those eager not just to see but also to hear the stories, there will be lectures and public talks by the museum’s founder himself.
